Words Spokesperson Ms Ty Scott of Platinum Souls  Platinum Souls:
Ricardo FLO and Ms. Ty Scott is a Christ-centered duo, destined to
deconstruct and reassemble the face of music, with an unprecedented fusion
of hip-hop, poetry, and soul. Platinum Souls’ diversity of
genres has attracted attention from the church to the streets. Since their
formation in February 2002, their lethal combination has allowed them the
opportunity to share venues with numerous artists, such as Mary Mary,
Bubba Sparxxx, Scarface, Tank, Clipse, and DC Talk. Their unique style has
also opened doors for them to record national radio commercials for Pizza
Hut and McDonalds. In the year 2002 alone, they ministered at 120 events
throughout the Eastern United States. And in the midst of their busy
schedules, Platinum Souls launched: Eternal Fava
Management, which already has a roster of such highly-favored and
anointed ministers of the gospel as: Kay Bizzy and F.O.W.
(Fountains of Wisdom). Due to the duo’s commitment to Christ and their
love for the music that has shaped their lives, they are determined to
bring the word of God in an uncompromising and undiluted manner- lacing
fat tracks with anointed vocals. Prepare to meet
Ms Ty Scott - “…I’m ready, willing, and able to take the gospel to the whole world…’cause I know somebody’s feeling this…” A born poet, Ms. Ty Scott (a Kingston, Jamaica native) inspires and mesmerizes those within earshot with her spoken word, which is forthcoming, innovative, and full of proposal of her aim to minister the gospel of Christ. Ty has been featured on several projects, including the graphic novel “The Truth” and the gospel rap album “Life Long Journey.” She represented Southern California for several years in the National Poetry Slam Competitions, and was one of only four poets chosen to unveil the 2001 Pontiac “Vibe” at the Los Angeles Auto Show. From the West Coast to the East Coast, Ty continues to give her all while dispersing her message to the masses, knowing it’s not about self-gratification, but about God’s glorification. Ty Scott is a member of Total Grace Christian Center with Apostle Johnathan and Pastor Toni Alvarado, in Decatur, GA. Ricardo FLO - “For Lord Only” - (a Baltimore, MD native) is a veteran in the industry. His love for hip-hop began more than 15 years ago, and his natural skills have paved the way for him to open for numerous recording artists, from rapper DMX to R&B vocalists 702. Through it all, he has never compromised, and his commitment to Christ has continually made room for him. In 1999, FLO found a home with Rapland Recording, launched by Christopher “Play” Martin of Kid-N-Play. This divine connection produced the successful single, “Four” which still airs nationally. He also had a Source magazine acclaimed hit “Bleeding Cool”, featuring Danny Class. As noted by the national hip-hop magazine XXL, ”Ricardo FLO can well flow in ways that can help the word of God be adored and not ignored.” Most recently, FLO was presented with a 2003 Holy Hip Hop Music Award for his diligence in spreading the gospel, through hip-hop, in the years prior to the formation of Platinum Souls. Without uncertainty, Ricardo FLO has the talent and the heart to impact the hip-hop community for Christ. Ricardo FLO is a member of The Center of Hope with Pastor Dallas C. Wilson, in Riverdale, GA. Platinum Souls recognizes that in today’s society, life imitates art on a daily basis, and often times in negative ways.
